For as long as I can remember, I have always been interested in aircraft, mainly war birds and modern jet fighters. My dad and I make annual visits to the Planes of Fame Air Museum and the March Field Museum as well as we attend several air shows, both large and small. |

A Little Bit About Who I Am
|
I’m just your average teenager with pretty much the same likes and dislikes as every other kid my age. I was born and raised in Riverside, where I attend high school at the Flabob Aviation Preparatory Academy. My older sister lives in Phoenix, Arizona, she calls me her “little buddy” which is kind of funny because I am almost a foot taller than she is. I do all the typical things kids do my age, hang out with friends, text message, play video games ,watch Family Guy, but most of all, I love to fly.

For a young person, that wants to learn and be involved in aviation, I could not live in a better place. I live near two airports, both of which provide me with unique opportunities that have inspired me to pursue a career in aviation. Flabob Airport, where I go to high school, is the home of the Wathen Foundation and where I flew for the first time. Shortly after my first flight, I got involved in a plane restoration project, sponsored by the EAA Young Eagles program and supported by the Wathen Foundation, which has exposed me to some really great people of aviation. Flabob Airport is also where I officially started flying lessons in January of 2010.
I am also an active cadet of the Commemorative Air Force - Inland Empire Wing, which is home based at Riverside Airport. This has been another great learning opportunity for me as well, as it’s just fun to work with and around the people and historic aircraft of the CAF-IEW. A few other activities I enjoy are Airsofting, which I do with my friends as often as possible, watching the Independent Film Channel, drawing and collecting military memorabilia.
After high school I plan to attend collage and then become a pilot in the United States Air Force.
